If it is malfunctioning you may be experiencing, stiffness, sexual problems, isolation, emotional instability or numbness, lower back pain and financial problems.
Consciousness: This chakra is associated with the parts of the consciousness concerned with food and sex. It is about the body’s communication to the Being inside, about what the body wants and needs, and what it finds pleasurable. The person’s ability to have children is also associated with this chakra. If there is not a clear relationship with the element of water, associated with this chakra, the person’s relationship with water is a reflection of their relationship with the parts of their consciousness associated with this chakra, i.e. food, sex, or having children. SACRAL CHAKRA MEDITATION:
Lie down on your back on the floor, with your knees together bent and feet flat on the floor in front of your anus. Arms should be next to the body palms flat on the ground.
Breathe in and slowly raise your hips off the floor, keeping your shoulders on the floor, going as high as you can get your hips. Breathing out slowly your hips to the floor, moving the back down one vertebrae at a time.
Standing up straight, bend knees slightly and drop pelvis forward. Keeping knees bent and flexible, rotate the pelvis in gradually decreasing circles, and then slowly increase the circle rotation size. Then repeat rotating in the other direction. Head and feet should remain totally still. Similar movement to belly dancing.
